In Defense Of Food

Michael Pollan has a new book called In Defense Of Food, If you care about what you eat you can see the main points this book shows.

  • Eat locally
  • Eat organic
  • Eat grass-fed
  • Shop the perimeter of the grocery store, not the middle.
  • Don’t eat it if:
  • You can’t pronounce the ingredients
  • Your great grandmother (or someone else’s) wouldn’t recognize it as food.

The whole philosophy boils down to seven words: “Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants.”

The Audiobook can be found in mininova.org

He explained his philosophy at Google, if you are interested in hear what he said in his speech, watch the following video (it's one hour long)
